Tension rises between Saudi forces and Hadi forces in Abyan

ABYAN, Jan. 7 (YPA) – There has been renewed tension between Saudi forces and Hadi’s presidential protection in Abyan province, Southern Yemen, tribal sources said on  Thursday.

According to the sources, the Saudi committee handed to Hadi security in the city of Shuqrah a list of recruits in the third brigade presidential protection in order to arrest them in connection with the attack on the school “Shuqrah High School” housing  the Saudi committee, but the leadership of Hadi forces rejected  the directive said that they will prosecute them militarily, which prompted the Saudi committee to threaten by force.

In the past few hours, the committee has called for more reinforcements to the city of Shuqrah and is pressing to remove Hadi factions from the city to its outskirts with Shabwah province after these forces were involved in the attack on the committee in order to force them to leave the city and allow these forces to escalate the military towards Aden.
