US coronavirus cases exceed 21 million

SANAA, Jan. 6 (YPA) – The total number of cases of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) in the US has exceeded 21 million, according to Johns Hopkins University.

According to the university’s census, the number of cases in the US rose to 21, 36,174, with total of 357,067 deaths.

More than 3,900 died in 24 hours in a new record toll, the university said.

The US is the world’s leading country in terms of numbers of infections and deaths.
