Army spokesman threatens with targeting coalition states ports

SANAA, Jan. 4 (YPA) – A spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarei, threatened on Monday with targeting ports of the Saudi-led coalition states if the Yemeni ports would continue to be closed.

The spokesmen affirmed, in a news statement on Monday about statistics of military achievement during the year of 2020, that any adventure by the coalition and its tools on the western coast, specifically Hodeida province, would be very high, and its consequences would extend to the capitals, ports and facilitations of the coalition countries.

Sarei declared that the Yemeni armed forces do have dozens of Yemeni offensive and advanced drones, which have not yet been disclosed, and will deter the enemy with its fortifications, gatherings and reinforcements.

Additionally, the armed forces would continue to implement their tasks and duties within the battle of freedom and independence by liberating all the Yemeni lands and defending national sovereignty over all Yemeni soil.

He stated the military industries are to be for the defense of the Yemeni people and are not directed against anyone, but rather against the enemies of Yemen and the enemies of the Yemeni people.

The spokesman pointed out that the armed forces are continuing in development and military industries and their defense capabilities. There are new military industries will be announced during the coming period.

“We have persevered our steadfastness for the past years with limited capabilities, and today we confirm continuing and withstanding in the coming years, with strong capabilities,” he reaffirmed.

He declared “that the armed forces will not hesitate to confront any foreign aggression under any slogan or name as long as the aggression on Yemeni people is being continued.”
