Army achieves penetration into Marib city

MARIB, Jan. 3 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces achieved on Sunday the penetration into the center of Jabal Murad district of Marib province, according to private sources.

The sources affirmed that the achievement made by the army came to tighten the siege on the coalition forces inside the city of Marib.

Additionally, the army forces still have fought fierce battles against the coalition forces during the past hours.

The sources pointed out that Sana’a forces launched a major military attack towards the sites of the coalition, taking over the strategic areas of al-Kharba and Al-Hadba overlooking Jabal Murad district, south of city.
