STC accuses former Hadi’s govt minister of being behind Aden airport attack

ADEN, Dec. 31 (YPA) – A member of the National Assembly of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) accused the former Minister of Interior in “Hadi’s government” Ahmed Al-Maysari of being behind Wednesday’s attacks that targeted Aden Airport.

“A week before the martyr leader Abu al-Yamamah was targeted, Al-Maysari made a fire statement, and days before the targeting of Aden airport, we heard a similar statement from him,” Waddah bin Attiyah, member of the STC Assembly, said in a tweet on Thursday.

Bin Attiyah considered it is likely that Al-Maysari had coordinated the operation in advance with what he called “brotherhood group” to target the government during its arrival at the airport.

On Wednesday afternoon, three missiles hit Aden Airport in conjunction with mortar shelling, during the return of the “Hadi government” to Aden city, which left dozens of dead and wounded, including government officials and Saudi soldiers.
