Britain records rise in Corona virus deaths

SANAA, Dec. 31 (YPA) –  British Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that it had recorded 981 new deaths from the Coronavirus, in a significant increase for this indicator, which rose more than twice compared to Tuesday’s data.
The Ministry stated, in a new statistic, that the number of registered infections with the emerging corona virus “COVID-19” in the United Kingdom during the past 24 hours increased by 50,023, to reach the level of 2432,888 cases.
This outcome comes after the country recorded on December 27- 30,501 cases, on December 28- 41,385, and on December 29-  53,135, which represents the highest daily number of confirmed injuries.
The British Ministry of Health also stated that it had detected 981 new deaths due to the disease, bringing the number of pandemic victims in the country to 72,548.
These data indicate a significant increase in daily deaths from the Coronavirus in Britain, as this indicator reached on December 27- 316, on December 28-  357, and on December 29-  414, and Wednesday’s outcome is the highest of its kind since April 24.
Britain is the sixth country in the world in terms of the number of registered infections with the emerging coronavirus, as well as the 6th in terms of the death toll from the pandemic.
On December 8, the country’s authorities launched a mass vaccination campaign against Coronavirus infection with a vaccine developed by the American “Pfizer” and the German “Biontech” company.
