Health Minister stresses importance of restoring confidence in Yemeni doctor

SANAA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Health Minister Taha Al-Mutawakel stressed on Wednesday the importance of restoring confidence in the Yemeni doctor and one of the most competent medical personnel.

Al-Mutawakel explained, during the launch of the second scientific conference of general and laparoscopic surgery, that the difficult circumstances that the health sector went through during the years of the war and siege have proven the efficiency and ability of Yemeni medical personnel.

The Minister pointed to the importance of the role of doctors and consultants, in exchanging experiences and rehabilitating students, expressing hope to benefit from scientific research and discussion sessions at the conference to come out with scientific recommendations that lead to improving the general surgery and endoscopy services.
