Army forces advance towards southern gate of Marib city

MARIB, Dec. 28 (YPA) – The army forces and the popular committees on Monday achieved a military achievement at the field level on the fronts of Al-Juba and Harib districts, south of Marib city, local sources reported.

The sources told Yemen Press Agency that the army and committees fought fierce battles against Saudi-led coalition forces on Al-Juba front, during which they were able to clear the strategic “Malas” Mountain.

Hours after purging Malas Mountain, the army forces advanced towards ‘Ashkhen’ areas, where fierce battles are taking place between the two sides, the sources explained.

In Harib district, the army and committees managed to purge the “Al-Muthafar road”, after violent battles against the coalition forces.
