Deputy FM stresses importance to develop laws related to roads

SANAA, Dec. (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development, Hussein Maqbouli, stressed on Saturday the importance to develop and update the laws related to roads, and introduce technology in the various works entrusted to the Ministry of Works.

At the conclusion of the training course organized by the Public Roads Corporation in coordination with the Ministry of Works, Maqbouli indicated that administrative development is among the priorities of the government’s work during the year 2021, which includes training human cadres, building capabilities and skills that contribute to improving the work’s outcomes.

The three-week course aimed to rehabilitate 35 engineers from the Ministry of Works, the Public Corporation for Roads in the fields of soil, asphalt and concrete tests in accordance with the technical specifications required and approved by the corporation’s central laboratory.
