Report: Woman injured in Saudi ground attacks, 18 airstrikes on Yemen over 24 hours
SANAA, May 23 (YPA) – A woman was seriously injured and properties of civilians destroyed when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched 18 airstrikes and ground attacks targeted several areas of Yemen’s provinces during the past 24 hours, Ansar Allah Media Center said in a statement received by Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.
- In Saada province:
A woman was injured when artillery and missile shelling targeted several areas of Razih district, damaging properties of residents.
Meanwhile, five airstrikes were waged on several areas of Baqem district, destroying a civilian’s home.
Five airstrikes on Fare’a area of Kutaf district.
An airstrike hit a main road in Nadhir area of Razih district.
- In the red sea port province of Hodeidah:
An airstrike targeted a car in Mujilis area of Tuhita district, there were reports of casualties.
An airstrike was waged on Katib area of Mina district.
- In southern Saudi province of Jizan:
Three airstrikes hit M.B.C mount.
Two Saudi-led airstrikes were launched on Jara valley.
