SANAA, Dec. 23 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister for National Vision Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Junaid, on Wednesday confirmed the government’s support for the efforts of the Ministry of Legal Affairs to advance the legal work and to develop workers’ capabilities in ministries.
This came during a ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Legal Affairs, for honoring the legal departments and distinguished legal workers in their work in ministries and government agencies.
Al-Junaid pointed out that building the modern state depends on the paths of serving the people and protecting money and public order, which cannot be achieved without the application of the law.
He pointed out that the most important paths that government agencies have relied upon in analyzing the current situation within the framework of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state is updating laws, some of which have become inconsistent with the changes of the current stage.
Al-Junaid considered the honoring to be a catalyst for legal departments to exert more efforts and create a spirit of competition among government agencies that still suffer from some shortcomings in their performance in the legal field.
