Tension rises between “Hadi and STC” militias in Abyan

ABYAN, Dec. 23 (YPA) – Tension rises in the occupied province of Abyan, after Hadi’s forces and Muslim Brotherhood’s militia redeployed behind the lines of confrontations from which they had withdrew, local sources said

According to the Sources,  that the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)  militia was still in the city of Zinjibar and had refused to let Hadi’s security forces enter and handed over the camps to its troops.

The sources added that Hadi’s forces are redeploying in the city of Shuqrah, and Hadi forces commander Brig. Gen. Abdullah al-Sabihi posted a video footage for him during his visits the positions of his forces there.

According to the sources, the moves signal a new conflict against the backdrop of the failure to implement the military and security aspect of the Riyadh agreement.
