Al-Hakimi: Saudi Arabia runs a new phase to divide Yemen

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – Yemeni Ambassador Abdullah Salam al-Hakimi affirmed that Saudi Arabia’s management of the conflict between the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Hadi” comes within the framework to convince international powers that it is a sponsor of peace, in addition to legalize and protect Yemen.

“Saudi Arabia wanted, through the political play of the Riyadh Agreement, to manage the conflict between its two parties in Yemen” The southern transitional council and Hadi” and the long time that it has taken to form a mercenary government affiliated with it, to show Saudi Arabia “the colonial and aggressive power that has occupied and besieged Yemen for 6 years, as a” guardian of peace and solution “in order to tighten its control over it, “Al-Hakimi said on his page on Facebook.

He added that Saudi Arabia is seeking to use its financial wealth to convince the international powers in force to recognize them, in this role to legitimize the imposition of their guardianship on Yemen.

He continued: “We do not see what some see that the chapters of the above-mentioned play predict the closure of Saudi Arabia to the file of its aggression, siege and occupation of Yemen, but it is entering a new phase of aggression and occupation characterized by division, escalation and dismantling. We must get ourselves prepared for this stage, which, with our steadfastness, will mark the beginning of the end of the Zionist imperialist project, that targets Yemen and its present and future.”
