Cold wave targets Yemeni provinces within 24 hours

SANAA, Dec. 21 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected on Monday continuing the cold wave in most Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center said in its weather forecast that the cold weather would targeted the mountainous areas of the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Dhalea, Taiz, Lahj, Ibb, Shabwa, Abyan and Hadramout.

It also expected light and sporadic rains on parts of the northwestern and southwestern highlands and the southern and western coasts in these period.

The center warned citizens and farmers to take the necessary precautions against the cold wave.
