Dozens of employees organize general strike in Shabwa

SHABWA, Dec. 21 (YPA) – Dozens of employees of the Finance Office of Shabwa province, east of Yemen, organizes on Monday a general strike, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that the strike came to protest against a campaign of the arrests that carried out by Islah Party’s militants against a number of employees, including the head of the General Accounting Unit.

The employees condemned the campaign and considered it a flagrant violation of employees’ rights in the province.
