MAHRA, Dec. 20 (YPA) – The contractors union organized on Sunday a protest rally in Mahra province, demanding payment of their dues.
The union confirmed that Mahra governor appointed by Saudi-led coalition, Mohammed Yasser has not paid their dues since his appointment as governor.
The protesters raised banners demanding the speedy disbursement of their dues urgently, and their failure to be victims and scapegoats of corruption.
The demonstrators said that their rally is not targeting anyone, but human and legal demands, pointing to their suffering due to the suspension of their source of income, especially with the recent economic deterioration.
