SANAA, Dec. 12 (YPA) – The Afghan Ministry of Interior said, on Saturday morning that several rocket-propelled grenades fell on the Afghan capital, killing one person and wounding another, in the second attack of its kind to rock Kabul in less than a month.
“Four rockets were fired from Lab Jar district in Kabul,” ministry spokesman Tariq Erian said on Twitter, adding that two rockets landed near Kabul airport.
Kabul police confirmed the early morning attack, saying most of the rockets had hit the eastern part of the capital.
It is noteworthy that on November 21 last, eight people were killed when 23 rockets fell on Kabul in an attack claimed by the terrorist organization “ISIS”.
