LAHJ, Dec. 3 (YPA) – Dozens of citizens took to the streets of Lahj province on Thursday, in an angry protest rally against the deterioration of essential services and living conditions.
At the rally, the protesters set fire to tyres and closed a number of main streets in the city of Al-Houta, the provincial capital.
The participants held banners and slogans denouncing the high cost of living due to the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi government continued to print illegal local currency.
They called on all the sons of the southern provinces to an angry uprising against the Saudi-led coalition and to stop the deterioration of the national economy since the outbreak of the war on Yemen in March 2015.
