Abdul-Salam: US, British weapons not protect Saudi regime

SANAA, Nov. 28 (YPA) – The head of the national negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul Salam, said on Saturday, that American and British weapons would not provide protection for the Saudi regime.

He said on Twitter,” there is neither American nor British weapon nor any force can provide an umbrella to protect the Saudi aggressive regime.”

Abdul-Salam stressed that if the Saudi kingdom wants to regain its lost security, the aggression on Yemen must be stopped and the siege lifted.

A spokesman for the British Ministry of Defense told Al-Jazeera TV that his country ‘s air defense force had been deployed in Saudi Arabia to protect Saudi oil installations since last February.
