MARIB, Nov. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni army managed on Wednesday to repel several attacks carried out by Saudi-led coalition forces northwest of the city of Marib, according to private sources.
The sources said that the army forces repelled the coalition attack towards the outskirts of Majzar district.
The sources explained that the coalition forces backed by warplanes waged an failed attack against the sites of the army in the areas of Wadi Hallan and Al-Jafra, in a miserable attempt to advance and regain the strategic camp of Mas.
Fierce confrontations broke out between the army and the coalition forces, which led to forcing the coalition fighters to feel towards Samada area and Marib city.
The army waged a military operation that led to full control over Mas camp in early November, which is the northwestern gateway to the city of Marib.
