Al-Houthi: US is a killer for the Yemeni people and we don’t care how it designates us

SANAA, Nov.18 (YPA) – Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a top member in the Supreme Political Council, mocked the US Department of State’s efforts to place Ansarullah on the “terrorism list.”

Al-Houthi considered that the term “terrorism” floating that America could not define, and became clearly revealed.  This term is raised in the face of those who reject America’s policies in killing and oppressing people, including the people of Yemen and others.

In a tweet, he said that the term terrorism is frequently used by Trump and successive US administrations, even Trump used this term against the protesters in the United States.

Al-Houthi stressed that the term “terrorism” cannot provide legitimacy for anyone in targeting Yemen or targeting any of the peoples,

He said what the Trump administration is considering of foreign interference and invasion, and everything America is doing against Yemen is an unjustified aggression.

He added: “We do not care how America designated us because in our view it is a killer of the Yemeni people and it is the one who kills and besieges our people. It is the Trump administration that rejected even the decision of Congress to stop the aggression against our country and stop supporting the Saudi Wahhabis.”

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi revealed the extent of the contradiction in US policy, pointing out that if the Trump administration views “Ansarullah” as terrorists or considers it, it should reconsider its allies who killed Khashoggi and support terrorism.

He added the US administration should not go to peace with the Taliban, which was once described as a terrorist organization.

Al-Houthi continued: “The American administration destroyed the world because of the Taliban and lost 12 trillion dollars – as Trump said. The US had talked and signed agreement after Taliban leaders became knights of peace in her view”.

” All of this is completely contrary to what America declares and confirms that all its terms are political terms in order to justify its aggression, invasion and occupation of others countries,” Mohammed Ali al-Houthi concluded.
