Russian Defense: Syrian refugees resume to leave Al-Rukban camp

SANAA, Nov. 14 (YPA) – The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Friday  the resumption of the process of returning displaced persons from al-Rukban camp on Jordan’s border with Syria.

Evacuation of refugees from al-Rukban camp in Syria has been resumed, with over 200 people leaving it in the past 24 hours, Alexander Grinkevich, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Parties in Syria, said on Friday.

“As many as 203 people left for the territory under control of the government of the Syrian Arab Republic through the Jleb checkpoint, among them were 59 women and 96 children,” Grinkevich said
