Yemeni community in US demands Joe Biden to end support for Saudi-led war on Yemen

SANAA, Nov. 9 (YPA) – The Yemeni community in the United States  on Monday carried out the largest community-wide parade in America.

This comes on the eve of the announcement of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s victory over former President Donald Trump, who is known for his toughness in supporting the war on Yemen, unlike Biden, who has promised to end it.

Activists posted pictures of thousands of Yemenis gathered near the White House, waving American and Yemeni flags .

They chanted slogans calling for an end to the war and a change in immigration and immigration policy.

Yemen was among the countries from which Trump banned travel to the United States and took measures that have caused suffering to many members of the Yemeni community, although his country has been supporting the war led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for six years.
