Military commander survives assassination in Aden

ADEN, May 20 (YPA) –  A military commander loyal to UAE occupation forces on Sunday survived an assassination attempt in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, local sources reported.

Unknown gunmen shot at Man’e al-Amri Abu Saleh, commander of the third Hazm battalion, but he survived and his bodyguard was wounded in the incident.

The move came after officers and soldiers prevented Abu Saleh from entering the camp gate last Tuesday, accusing him of corruption and deduction of their dues.
