Government source condemns assassination of Sports Minister Hassan Zaid

SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – An official source in the office of Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Tuesday condemned the treacherous crime of assassination of Minister of Youth and Sports, Hassan Zaid, this morning in Sanaa, which led also to his daughter’s injury.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the source denounced this heinous crime, which targeted a leading civil and political figure known for his courageous stances against the Saudi-led aggression coalition and its agents and mercenaries, as he said.

The source urged the security services, which started their immediate investigations, to intensify their efforts to uncover the circumstances of the crime, its perpetrators and those standing behind them, and inform the public opinion of the results of the investigations upon completion.

The source conveyed the condolences of the Prime Minister and members of the government to the family of the deceased, the youth movement and the people of the nation over this great loss.
