Yemen’s FM receives copy of Iranian ambassador credentials

SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, received on Tuesday a copy of the credentials from the newly appointed ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Irloo, to Yemen.

During the meeting, the minister expressed his hope to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples in various fields.

“Iran’s position calling for an end to the aggression and blockade imposed on Yemen is appreciated by the Yemeni people,” Sharaf said.

He affirmed that the ministry’s readiness to provide all necessary facilitation to the Iranian ambassador to perform his duties to build the distinguished relations between Yemen and Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran’s official affirmed that Iran would exert more effort to achieve peace in Yemen and end the suffering of the Yemeni people.
