Police seize 6.9 mln riyals of illegal currency in Bayda

BAYDA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Police forces’ branch in Bayda city arrested on Tuesday a person on a truck, while passing from a security point, with 4.6 million riyals of illegal currency, printed by Saudi-led coalition with the aim of harming the national economy.

In Bayda province also, the police forces branch in Al-Sowma’a district captured a 35 years old man with 2.3 million riyals of illegal currency in his possession.

The two defendants were referred the competent bodies for taking legal procedures against them.
