7 Yemeni recruits of coalition injured, dozens arrested by Saudi forces in Jizan

JIZAN, Oct. 13 (YPA) – At least seven Yemeni recruits were wounded in violent clashes broke out on Tuesday between Saudi forces and dozens of Yemeni recruits in the ranks of Saudi-led coalition in Jizan region.

Informed sources explained that the Saudi forces led by Lieutenant Colonel Imad Nawwaf al-Jabal opened fire on hundreds of Yemeni recruits in Jizan, and arrested dozens of them after they organized protests against ill-treatment and failure to pay their salaries for several months, demanding to be deported to Yemen.

The number of recruits – who had been deceived – exceeded 400 soldiers, demanding that their salaries be paid, return to Yemen, and that their continuous suffering in the Saudis’ camps be ended, according to the sources.
