TAIZ, Oct. 12 (YPA) – Taiz governor, Salim Al-Mughalis strongly condemned on Monday the fresh heinous crime committed by the Saudi-led coalition forces against children and civilians in Salh district in the province.
The governor considered targeting populated neighborhoods and areas in the district, which led to the deaths of three people and injuring others, including children, a crime added to a series of crimes and violations by the coalition and its mercenaries against the Yemeni people for nearly six years.
Al-Mughalis called on everyone to move to confront the coalition “aggression” crimes and its mercenaries against civilians, which are a flagrant violation of the international and humanitarian charters and laws.
Meanwhile, the Human Rights and Health Bureau condemned, in a statement, the coalition forces’ crime that violate human rights law and international conventions related to the protection of children.
The Bureau called on children’s rights organizations to condemn this crime that occurred near May 22 school, in light of preparations for the start of the school year and the return of children to their schools, in a clear message by the coalition forces targeting education and depriving children of their rights to life, education and safety.
On Sunday, the coalition forces fired artillery at residential areas of Salh district of the province, killing three citizens and injuring others, including children.
