Court in Sanaa sentences person to death for kidnapping, raping 92 people

SANAA, Oct. 10 (YPA) – The Specialized First Instance Criminal Court in the capital Sanaa on Saturday sentenced Abdurahman Mohammed Hammoud al-Shuja’a, 25, to death for having committed kidnappings via tricky luring 92 people, ranging in age from 8 to 20 years, and raping them at gunpoint.

The verdict was pronounced in the session headed by Judge Mohammad Mufleh, and provided for the execution of the death penalty by firing to death in Al-Sabeen Square.
