Recruit killed, 3 injured in armed clashes in Shabwa

SHABWA, Oct. 10 (YPA) – A recruit was killed and three others were wounded on Saturday in clashes between Islah Party militia and recruits of the so-called “security belt” in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.

Informed sources said that armed confrontations broke out this morning between members of the Islah militia and the UAE-backed security belt force that tried to smuggle weapons across the sea in Radhom district, east of Shabwa province.

The clashes led to the killing of the recruit Arif Abu Bakr Al-Adhmi and the injury of two others, the sources added.
