Capital mayor stresses importance of wide participation in commemorating prophet’s birthday

SANAA, Oct. 9 (YPA) – Hammoud Obad, mayor of Capital Sanaa stressed importance of interaction and participation of all in commemorating the prophet’s birth.

 The move came during a meeting of the central and sub-committees of the prophet’s birthday in al-Wahdah Directorate on Friday.

  The celebration of this occasion reflects the love  for the Great Prophet in the hearts and reflects the attachment of Yemenis to the Holy Prophet through following his approach, the mayor said.

 He pointed out the importance of using this anniversary to strengthen resilience and increase the fronts to face aggression.

Hammoud Obad  praised the victories achieved by the army and popular committees on various fronts, particularly the West Coast Front.

For his part , Khaled al-Madani , a member of the Shura Council,  stressed the importance of concerted efforts to make the events a success on this occasion at the level of the secretariat’s directorates.
