Military protesters close main roads to oil tankers in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 8 (YPA) – Military protesters blocked on Thursday the main roads in the city of Aden, in southern Yemen, and prevented the passage of trucks loaded with petroleum products to the fuel stations in the city.

This came within the escalation steps taken by the military personnel demanding the payment of their salaries, which had been suspended for nearly eight months, a local source said.

Military personnel have staged a sit-in in front of headquarter of Saudi-led coalition forces command in Aden city since early July, without any response to their demands.
