7 pro-coalition military leaders killed in Marib battles

MARIB, Oct. 3 (YPA) – At least seven of most prominent military leaders loyal to Saudi-led coalition forces were killed on Saturday in the confrontations taking place in Marib province, local sources reported.

The sources indicated that the coalition forces suffered heavy losses during a failed attack on the areas cleared by the Yemeni army and the popular committees during the past days, in the outskirts of Madghal district in Marib province.

The coalition forces’ recruits were subjected to a large massacre in ‘Tabin’ Mountain and Al-Zabra area, in which dozens were killed or wounded, including six of the most prominent leaders, namely field commander Nayef Saeed Kharsan Maqshad Al-Ajda’i, military commander Waleed Al-Toli, Nayef Maqshad Al-Ajda’i, Masoud Mubarak Ja’dar Al-Ajda’i , Rakan Khodhaym Al-Thwi, and Hamad Mohammed Ja’dar Al-Ajda’I, according to the sources.

The sources added that Lieutenant Mohammed Nasser Abdullah Al-Hulaisi, military commander in the coalition forces, was killed by the army and the popular committees’ fire in Al-Juba front, south of Marib province.
