Marib tribes hold emergency meeting to respond to coalition

SANAA, Oct. 3 (YPA) – An extended tribal meeting of sheikhs and notables of Marib province was held in Sanaa on Saturday to discuss the urgent issues in the province in light of the Saudi-led coalition’s continual aggression and siege on the Yemeni people.

In the meeting, which was attended by the Shura Council’s member Abdullah Nimran and undersecretaries of the province Saeed Buhaibeh and Nasser Al-Shandaqi, Head of the Tribal Cohesion Council Sheikh Dhaifallah Rassam affirmed the council’s support for the Marib tribes in liberating the province from the aggression forces and mercenaries.

Rassam called on all Yemeni tribes to stand by the tribes and sons of Marib to expel the invaders and occupiers from the province.

At the meeting, sheikhs and notables of Marib issued a statement, in which they confirmed that Marib tribes would continue to mobilize support for the army and popular committees to proceed with the liberation of Marib from the aggression and occupation forces.
