Activists protest against Saudi-led aggression on Yemen

SANAA, Sept. 27 (YPA) – A number of activists and members of the Yemeni community in Switzerland held a protest event in which they expressed their solidarity over the brutal aggression against Yemen.

The protest was held on Friday in front of the broken chair in front of the UN headquarters in Geneva on the sidelines of the 45th session of the Human Rights Council, which began last week and continues until October 6th.

Participants raised banners showing some of the war crimes committed by the Saudi-led coalition, the United Arab Emirates and the United States against the Yemeni people.

Short speeches were given to the participants calling for an end to the aggression and the immediate lifting of the blockade, an end to these crimes and punishment of those responsible.

This protest comes despite the Coronavirus  pandemic, which is experiencing a new wave these days in Europe.
