Yemeni riyal exchange witnesses slight improvement after great fall in southern provinces

SANAA, Sep. 26 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rates witnessed on Saturday a slight improvement, two days after the closure of exchange shops in Marib province and southern provinces due to the great collapse of the national currency for the third consecutive week.

The riyal exchange rate reached 828 riyals per dollar in Aden province and 824 riyals per dollar in Hadramout province.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni riyal exchange stabilized in the capital Sanaa at 610 riyals per dollar, while the sale of foreign currencies on the black market stopped.
