SANAA, Sept. 24 (YPA) – US President Donald Trump On Wednesday has refrained from pledging a peaceful transition of power if he loses the November 3 election to his Democratic rival Joe Biden.
“We’ll see what happens,” Trump told reporters at the White House when asked if he would commit to a peaceful transition of power.
The President has repeatedly sought to question the legitimacy of the election, because of his concerns about the mail-and-mail voting that Democrats encouraged during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Suddenly, Trump left the press conference, saying, “I have to leave because of an emergency phone call, but I’ll be back and I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“I have a lot of contact,” Trump added.
Trump said he believed the 2020 presidential election would end in the Supreme Court. “He thinks that’s why it’s important to have nine judges,” he said.
