Army repels new attack of coalition’s mercenaries in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Sept. 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees were able on Wednesday to repel a new wide-scale attack of US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s mercenaries in Hodeidah province as a new violation for ceasefire agreement, a military source told Yemen Press Agency.

The source declared that coalition’s mercenaries carried out an infiltration attempt on the army’s sites in al-Shaab village of Hays district.

The source pointed out that the infiltration attempt coincided with bombardment using medium and heavy machine guns.

The army and popular committees inflicted coalition’s forces heavy losses in lives and equipment during foiling their attack, the source confirmed.
