HADRAMOUT, Sep. 18 (YPA) – Angry protesters on Friday blocked a number of main streets and roads in Mukalla city, the capital of Hadramout province.
A local source in the city confirmed that citizens blocked the main streets in the city to protest against the deteriorating electricity service.
The protests have been going on for a week in the BaJmaan area and the rest of the city’s streets, he added.
Mukalla’s protests continue in amid the failure of the local authority loyal to Saudi-led coalition to solve the problem of electricity cuts, which lasts for 15 hours a day.
