Libyan interim government submits its resignation to Parliament

BENGHAZI, Sep. 14 (YPA) – The Libyan interim government headed by Abdullah al-Thani, in the east of the country, submitted on Sunday its resignation to the Speaker of Parliament, Aguila Saleh.

The resignation is scheduled to be presented to the parliament for consideration, according to the Libyan ‘Africa News Portal’ website.

This came during a meeting held by the Parliament Speaker with the Prime Minister in the interim Libyan government, the Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs, the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, and heads of the committees in the Parliament.
