STC military Authority calls for expulsion of coalition forces from Aden

ADEN, Sept. 12 (YPA) – Southern Military Authority, one of the most important military wing of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) has on Saturday called for a “hungry revolution ”  to uproot the  Saudi-led coalition in the southern port city of Aden.

This comes more than two months after its members begun sit-in to demand the salaries of the STC fighters, but it was to no avail.

In a statement, the Authority called on all the STC’s factions to come down and actively participate in the escalatory events against the coalition in Aden, accusing it of ignoring their demands.

For the past five months, the Authority has been launching a sit-in camp in front of the Saudi-led coalition forces’ headquarters in Aden

The call comes following deployment of armed factions such as the Al-Asifah (Strom) through the streets of Aden, marking the escalation that begins after 24 hours as the deadline set by the STC for  Saudi Arabia.

Although the apparent demands of the STC’s rights, but they carry within it an escalation of another kind may end Saudi Arabia’s ambition to implement a military slit of the Riyadh agreement, especially as Saudi Arabia begins arrangements to get the STC’s factions out of the city.
