16 insolvent prisoners released in Amran

AMRAN, May 16 (YPA) – Sixteen insolvent prisoners on Wednesday were released in the province of Amran on the occasion of holy month of Ramadan, central security commander Sharaf al-Hamzi said.

Al-Hamzi said the release came upon directives from the political leadership. He said those released had spent three quarters of their jail terms.
