STC militias shoot dozens of protesters in Socotra

SOCOTRA, Sep. 7 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) opened on Monday fire at dozens of protesters in an attempt to disperse them in Qalansiya district in Socotra province, according to sources.

The participants, at a protest rally, demanded the Emirati occupation forces to leave the island, after establishing an Emirati-Israeli military base on the province.

The protesters denounced the announcement of the Emirati-Israeli relations and considered those the UAE normalization with Israeli as a treason against the Arab and Islamic nation.
