One hour’s distance separates Islah militants from entering Aden

LAHJ, Sept. 7 (YPA) – Spokesperson for the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia in al-Dhalea province on Monday warned of the fall of Lahj province at the hands of Islah Party militants in the coming days.

The spokesperson, ‘al-Shuaibi’, said in a post on Facebook, “The district of Tor al-Baha district, which extends from the borders of Taiz province to Al-Anad area in Lahj, is just around the corner from falling into the hand of Islah.”

Al-Shuaibi, the editor-in-chief of the STC’s Fourth Dimension website, confirmed that the distance of one hour separates the Islah militants from the city of Aden, in the event that they control the Tor al-Baha district.

He called on the STC leadership to move urgently and immediately before it is too late to defend Tor al-Baha as soon as possible.

Al-Shuaibi’s warning comes after news of a military agreement between Islah and the “17th Brigade”, led by Lahj’s governor loyal to the so-called “legitimacy”, in Riyadh.
