Supreme Court discusses ways to develop judicial performance

SANAA, Sept. 5 (YPA) – The Supreme Court on Saturday discussed, in its meeting headed by the Court’s Chief Judge Dr. Essam al-Samawi, ways to develop the judicial performance.

The meeting reviewed aspects related to the executive matrix of the National Vision for 2020 in the Supreme Court, with aim of founding a unified work mechanism for the court in completing stalled cases and avoiding shortcomings in the judicial work.

At the meeting, al-Samawi stressed the importance of strengthening the self-observe of judges in order to raise the prestige of the judiciary and reach a fair and speedy justice.

He urged courts to quickly decide on pending and stalled cases, stressing the importance of adhering to the official working hours.
