New commander of Hadi’s forces on al-Mushaireef front of Marib appointed

MARIB, Sept. 5 (YPA) – The Ministry of Defense of “Hadi government” loyal to Saudi-led coalition on Saturday appointed Brigadier General Mohammed Ali al-Qardai as a commander of its forces on al-Mushaireef front in al-Rahba district, southwest of Marib governorate.

This comes after Islah Party militias arrested on Friday the former commander of Hadi’s forces on the al-Mushaireef front Mufreh Buhibah, according to local sources.

The so-called “Military Police” of the Islah militias arrested Buhibah and imprisoned him, hours after his forces and al-Qaeda members suffered heavy losses, as a result of the coalition forces carrying out several unsuccessful advance attempts towards al-Mushaireef valley in al-Rahba district, the sources explained.
