STC pushes military reinforcements to Abyan

ABYAN, Sep. 3 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) pushed on Tuesday new military reinforcements to the areas of clashes in Abyan province, sources said.

The sources said that military vehicles with dozens of recruits, arrived at the outskirts of Zinjibar to support the STC militias for confronting the Islah elements.

Al-Tiriya and Sheikh Salem areas have witnessed sporadic clashes between the STC militias and Islah militants for more than a year.
