One dead, two injured in Brooklyn Park shooting

SANAA, Aug. 31 (YPA) – At least one person was killed and two others were injured last night in a shooting incident in Minnesota’s northern part.

The shooting took place inside an apartment complex in Brooklyn Park, the state, noting that it was continuing to search for the suspect, US media states, citing local police.

In a separate incident, St. Louis police  that said one of its officers died of his injuries after he had suffered  a head wound  last Saturday when he and a colleague were involved in a shooting incident in the city.

The shooter was arrested, ABC News quoted police as saying. Another officer was injured and discharged from hospital.

Shootings are common in the United States because of the widespread culture of violence and the right to own individual weapons under the US Constitution.
