Southern military protesters close coalition headquarters in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 31 (YPA) – Southern Yemeni retired military  commanders and officers  on Sunday prevented Saudi-led coalition leaders from leaving their headquarters in Aden.

Local sources said that the southern military protesters in front of the coalition gate shut the coalition headquarters and prevented all the coalition leadership from leaving the building and detained them inside it which is located in the area of Bir al-Naja Al Buraiqeh district

The protesters closed the Gate of the coalition in escalating steps to their demands for the payment of their salaries, which have been cut off for months.

In a related context, the southern politician “Ahmed al-Rubaizi” called on the people of the south to support the protesters and solidarity with them.

A number of southern military personnel staged a sit-in in front of the coalition headquarters days ago to demand that their salaries be paid for months.
